Limitless – Burns Tresspass 2019 (Mark Knight Extended Mix) – Booka Shade Harmony – Mr. Belt & Wezol C116W – Joyhauser Bring It Back (Afrojack x Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano Edit) – Jewelz & Sparks Nobody Else – Axwell Telling Me – Aevion Zion – PBH & Jack Shizzle Give It Up – Kideko Explode – Brieue & Gregor Potter Passionfruit – Drake
I forgot to type ‘Bring It Back’ it looks like in both previously published mixes. This one still needs a better transition from ‘Give It Up’ to ‘Explode’.

There were a lot of updates in catching up today, so you know I’m not trying to push anything out your view. I added another artist to the last post because I forgot, as I am supposed to wake up super early tomorrow after a different schedule. I know it’s Memorial Day for everyone, so have a good day off and there is a lot to catch up on here for that. I am making a Mix VII (Dedicated Version). Usually it’s an Alternate Version, but because the mix keeps getting hijacked, I am making a point to fine tune this one even though they are for listeners to make their own interpretation. I love you all and hate to single anyone out this year, especially if they are not officially ever with me in any world, but I cannot derail the year for a celebrity crush or another stranger. I am putting in time with all sorts of people I don’t know with the tattoos and trying to balance a lot of stuff in my life and cannot let a few egos break it to defeat. I must wait until the next paycheck to finish this next mix version. I didn’t buy four of the tracks due to money spent on the convention tattoo and other bills. However I am close to a 40 minute mix. If I get clear approval at any time making it feel like the mix is worthy of this title it will be posted after it is finished. So, there may be no dedicated version mix. Right now it is still starting with ‘Right Left Wrong’ and with a starting section that is in question it may continue with ‘Limitless’ by Burns and then to ‘Harmony’ with the rest of the mix the same except ending on ‘Ride’ after ‘Explode’ (-2.24). It isn’t exact because of how things are syncopated, but it’s the best transition between songs. I really wanted to make ‘Baton Rouge to ‘Talk to Frank’ by Teddy Killerz to ‘Ja Re Ja O Harjaee’ work, but it’s -33.30 to +50.30 and a +18.10 in a less than a minute Indian dance song that only worked once. ‘Peace’, ‘Marrow’ and ‘Parallel Line’ are cut out because… remember that song ‘Parallel Lines’ I used in a North Platte discovery mix? “Dying tonight, dying inside, parallel lines.”
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. – Martin Luther King, Jr.
I would rather be remembered by a song than by a victory. – Alexander Smith
I am taking time to view more portfolios (so to speak) on instagram or websites via the Villain Arts Convention website. This is the third post on selections I have made based on any given days unnamed criteria. In the third round I have been strangely eliminating many feeds and/or artists even when they are super talented. I have added a few more to this slowly growing favorites list one who strictly does artwork (email him for “tattoo privilege”). I spent a few separate days on this list. This time I was slightly scared or disturbed, but I was able to get through them all. The last couple of times I didn’t last long. Before that I did the whole Houston/Dallas in a a couple of long nights, so I think it had to do with my eye health and other things on my mind. It would be awesome to go to Louisiana again for the second time in my life and get September’s ‘Tattoo of the Month” done there. It would have to be a small meaningful one because of travel and time off. I guess that is what I was looking for and some of those artists from Houston and Dallas will be there as well.
Allen Spurlock – I am impressed by the interpretation or transference of ‘gazes’. In other words how the eyes look out from the palette of skin. He also posted an original painting in which was on eBay auction that is amazing in it’s balance of borderline emotional overflow. Like I should feel this way about this image…but not quite in several directions. Owner of t.h.e.c.h.a.p.e.l. (318)381-6189
David Gellner – lots of posted original artwork. Detailed/elaborate geometric designs that are also complex things or creatures. Very meticulous and mathematical with everything, it looks like. Despite this description, they are no picnics. I like the lettering I see for a Ckwal name tattoo, but I’m not sure as Ckwal himself, if it make sense to ‘fan’ myself like that, even if some of the work I do is out of mind and spiritually malleable. Geljabarink21@gmail.com
Sarah Twiggy – some simple and colorful &/or outline based work that doesn’t need anymore. I don’t know where these ideas come from, but there are quite a few that stand out. I’d probably ask for a vegetable, cow or dragon variation depending on how much I had to spend. Iron Crown Tattoo 831-373-4766. Says she has gmail, but it is missing the address.
We Are All Corrupted (Kyle Spain) – “Dark & Surreal Art”, these are the kind of designs that you might want one tattoo of somewhere and you can’t really find it anywhere. You might see tons of similar stuff all over the place, but it’s usually for some really popular or cult underground franchise thing that everyone will say they know what it is, so you keep looking and never find it. Some are based off established characters, some fully original. Send message via Etsy shop or try talking @ him on instagram.
Disclaimer/warning: As always have caution on instagram with body art. Offensive images or designs and/or nudity possible Contacting or showing up at the convention expecting to work with any artist without a direct contact appointment is not guaranteed. Choosing an artist or a specific design does not necessarily mean the artist will deliver so-called work unless agreed upon and in that negotiation must realize it is an art and mistakes or variations are possible. Dealing with tattoo artists, you may also confront strong egos or spirits and confronting or not confronting will effect the final result. Good luck.
I finally got back on track with the original list I wrote in the first ‘Movie of the Month’. With the ten from the camera sale, I bought another taper to get my left ear up to a 2 gauge and bring the 4 gauge buffalo rainbow anodized titanium to the right ear, and a matinee priced ticket to see John Wick 3. Before I narrowed down which movie I would see last night, I checked the ratings and why they were that way. It said John Wick 3 was R for “pervasive strong violence and some language”. I was a little reluctant, but usually online rating descriptions from credible sources are accurate because of legalities. Last time I just asked the person at the ticket counter. Anyways I was there with perfect time for the first showing of the day and got in during the previews. I don’t know how to not spoil a movie in certain ways except for not write or talk about it, but I won’t explain anything that happened. I will just write a little about a few things that might get you to watch it or not if you couldn’t decide in the thought process I was aligned with in the presentation. I hadn’t seen John Wick 2, so there was some of the general plot I was a little lost on. It’s not super important and there was a subplot made up in my mind that worked and was just as moving if not more so. They did add to the plot and being a little confused about what it is might make you more disturbed at times, but not too over the top. The first section of the movie is unbelievable action scenes and definitely strong violence. I had to look away quite a bit to not feel too jaded. I would compare the vibe everywhere from old school fighting movies to video games like a Bond variation or Mortal Kombat. There is also a strange similarity to an Eyes Wide Shut vibe that is in contrast strictly based on fighting. In that you can’t really tell what’s going on, but there is some invitation to a private party to kill each other while at the same time being the blind piano player to what’s going to happen next. If that scene to scene type stuff kept going on, it would really be like a nightmarish video game, but it got intriguing as the fighting spaces out and didn’t really bore at all. I would say it was the best movie for me this year in the ones I have seen, although wouldn’t recommend it for a younger, less mature audience. If you have played video games and separated the killing from reality, it might be a good lesson on carefulness because it doesn’t have that same separation. I wasn’t moved like I was getting hurt so to speak, but it was impressive realism and still emotional. Also, although I haven’t seen a lot of movies in recent years, I would say it’s on the cutting edge of experimentation with imaginational, untold subplots while being super educated or educational on the history of combat in and through ages. If you are kind of callous to certain types of violence and a movie cultist, I guess you could go over the three in the series with repetition. Overall the culture set in New York with the cast made a great artistic medium for maximal interpretation. May will be over soon and I almost have the next Mix VII (Dedicated Version) with a few important changes.
Another important update this morning. I called Red Cross and because my nose was pierced with a reusable gun and re-piercing my ears myself on top of that, I have to wait an entire year before donating again. Since I cannot keep the nose piercing, it is really tragic. In addition the hole will not really heal for some time and a scar will be left until I can find the time to do it right. If you are a regular blood donor, make sure to get pierced at a licensed shop that uses single-use needles. I am very sorry for this and struggling with my decision. I read those pamphlets many times at the Red Cross, but didn’t remember the part about piercings when I was obsessing about it. I hope that there was another reason why this happened in faith.
Right before work not long after posting, I went to the pawn shop and sold the camera. I traded it for ten dollars and sunglasses that were on special for 10$. I added a ‘Picture of the Month’ for May. Not totally sure if June will have one. I may resume in July. I’ll update about ‘Movie of the Month’ if the deadline is made.
I’m disappointed at the experience for the second two attempts at Mix VII. Other people (or spirits) are trying to take this dedication. The first one went well and seemed right, but rumor said that it was not with the intended subject. A spiritual battle for the soul is out of my expertise when defining ideas outside of my own mind. Distractions are one thing, but is this trespass? Sometimes uninvited parties are welcome, real crashers are depressing. So, I made it through two extended versions like a chore. I am going to remix if possible or even make a few changes. If it doesn’t deliver, I will edit with mostly house tracks and less words to evolve a therapy. This mix still has that effect, but it wouldn’t save your life fast enough in that sense. Everytime I mix there is some professional visitation or progress, so I can’t complain even though that isn’t my goal. I started with Ckwal mixes at the end of 2015 with one major idea in mind – To get the girl so to speak. It hasn’t been effective after nearly three and half years. I left social networks for privacy and it failed. It seems like everything Ckwal is a big misunderstanding, but since I’m not dead yet, I must be stronger. If you have been following that long, I also compliment you. Stay tuned for the weekend when I am considering pawning my camera to see, ‘Movie of the Month’.
